Arvast F-10 Tablet acts through two active ingredients that work in different ways to improve lipid levels:

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This component activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPAR-α), a nuclear receptor that regulates the metabolism of lipids and lipoproteins. It reduces the production and increases the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins, increases the production of HDL cholesterol, and promotes the elimination of LDL cholesterol.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis. It increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, enhancing uptake and catabolism of LDL cholesterol. It also inhibits hepatic synthesis of VLDL, the precursor of LDL, and reduces total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
