Corvadil A Tablet 15 is used to manage high blood pressure and stable angina in adults. It is a combination cardiovascular medicine containing amlodipine and atenolol, a calcium channel blocker and a beta-blocker.
This medicine is used when control of both blood pressure and heart rate is needed and to help prevent heart-related chest pain. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Reducing salt, staying active as advised, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol can support treatment alongside this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a very slow heart rate, heart, liver or kidney problems, or diabetes, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Ask your doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop it suddenly or unless your doctor advises you to do so.
