• Clavulanic Acid (125 mg): This component acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Its role is to shield cefuroxime from being degraded by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain resistant bacteria. This protective action expands the antibiotic spectrum of cefuroxime to include some strains that produce beta-lactamase.
