Cefakind Cv 500 Tablet 10

Cefakind-CV 500 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and skin infections. It inhibits bacterial growth and reduces symptoms like pain, swelling, and fever. This combination treatment is also effective against gonorrhea and other bacterial infections.

• Cefakind Cv 500 tablets should be taken only through a doctor's prescription. 
• Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Do not chew or break the tablet.
• This medication should be taken with food. 
• It should be taken as advised by the doctor. 

• Cefakind Cv 500 tablets are administered orally.

Cefakind CV 500 tablet composition is a combination of Cefuroxime (500 mg) and Clavulanic acid (125 mg). 

• Cefuroxime is a second generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Cephalosporin has beta lactam rings and prevents bacteria from synthesising cell walls. This results in death of cells. 
• Clavulanic acid inhibits beta lactamase enzymes. It enhances activity of beta lactam antibiotics. 

• Store this medicine at room temperature (25ºC).
• Keep the medicine away from direct light, moisture and heat. 
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.
• Ask healthcare professionals about proper disposal of unused medicine.

• Have a balanced and healthy diet.
• Add probiotics like yoghourt or curd to your diet. 
• Avoid oily and heavy foods that can worsen bacterial infection.
• Get enough sleep so that your body gets sufficient rest. 
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol which can increase side effects of medication.

• Avoid Cefakind CV 500 tablet in case of known allergies to Penicillin.   
• Take this medicine with food. 
• While taking antacids with this medicine, keep a gap of at least 2 hours in both
