Cetil-CV 500 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, ears, nose, throat, urinary tract and skin in adults, helping to clear the infection and relieve symptoms.

Uses of Cetil-CV 500 Tablet are:

• Chest Infections: Treats bacterial pneumonia and bronchitis.
• Ear, Nose and Throat Infections: Treats bacterial sinusitis, tonsillitis and middle ear infections.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the bladder and urinary tract.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Treats bacterial skin infections such as cellulitis.

To use Cetil-CV 500 Tablet:

Cetil-CV 500 Tablet contains cefuroxime axetil and potassium clavulanate as its active ingredients.

• Cefuroxime axetil stops the growth of bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective covering.
• Potassium clavulanate enhances the activity of cefuroxime and reduces bacterial resistance.

These two ingredients work together synergistically to combat bacterial infections in the body. Cefuroxime axetil inhibits the ability of bacteria to multiply and spread by interfering with their cell wall synthesis process. Potassium clavulanate helps cefuroxime remain effective against certain bacteria that produce enzymes called beta-lactamases, which can otherwise break down cefuroxime.
