Cetil-CV 500 Tablet is used to manage bacterial infections affecting the throat, ears, sinuses, urinary tract, skin, and respiratory system by slowing the growth of bacteria. It is also used to treat pneumonia, cellulitis, abscesses, and UTIs by reducing inflammation, easing symptoms, and promoting faster recovery.

To use Cetil-CV 500 Tablet:

• Cefuroxime axetil stops the growth of bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective covering.
• Potassium clavulanate enhances the activity of cefuroxime and reduces bacterial resistance.

These two ingredients work together synergistically to combat bacterial infections in the body. Cefuroxime axetil inhibits the ability of bacteria to multiply and spread by interfering with their cell wall synthesis process. Potassium clavulanate helps cefuroxime remain effective against certain bacteria that produce enzymes called beta-lactamases, which can otherwise break down cefuroxime.
