Cetil Cv 500 Tablet 10

Cetil-CV 500 Tablet is used to treat susceptible bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, ears, nose, throat, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues.

Uses of Cetil-CV 500 Tablet are:

• Respiratory Tract Infection Treatment: Treats susceptible bacterial infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
• Ear, Nose and Throat Infection Treatment: Helps treat bacterial infections such as sinusitis, tonsillitis and middle-ear infections.
• Urinary Tract Infection Treatment: Treats susceptible bacterial infections affecting the urinary tract.
• Skin and Soft-Tissue Infection Treatment: Helps treat bacterial skin and soft-tissue infections, including cellulitis.

Cetil-CV 500 Tablet does not treat viral infections such as the common cold or flu.

To use Cetil-CV 500 Tablet:

• Consult your doctor for the correct dosage and duration of treatment.
• Take the tablet with or without food at the same time every day.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush it.
• If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next dose.

Cetil-CV 500 Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It is not meant to be used externally or applied topically.

Cetil-CV 500 Tablet contains cefuroxime axetil and potassium clavulanate as its active ingredients.

• Cefuroxime axetil stops the growth of bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective covering.
• Potassium clavulanate enhances the activity of cefuroxime and reduces bacterial resistance.

These two ingredients work together synergistically to combat bacterial infections in the body. Cefuroxime axetil inhibits the ability of bacteria to multiply and spread by interfering with their cell wall synthesis process. Potassium clavulanate helps cefuroxime remain effective against certain bacteria that produce enzymes called beta-lactamases, which can otherwise break down cefuroxime.

By combining these two active ingredients, Cetil-CV 500 Tablet provides a potent defence against bacterial infections and helps prevent them from spreading or becoming more severe.
