Alex Junior Syrup is used to relieve cough and cold symptoms in children, as directed by a doctor.

Alex Junior Syrup is given orally.

Alex Junior Syrup contains two active ingredients:

Chlorpheniramine (2 mg): This is a first-generation antihistamine that works by blocking histamine activity at H1-receptor sites in the nose, eyes, and airways. By doing so, it reduces reactions such as inflammation and mucus secretion which are common in allergic responses.

Dextromethorphan (5 mg): This cough suppressant acts by crossing into the brain and binding to certain receptors in the medulla. This action helps elevate the cough threshold and diminishes sensitivity to cough reflexes in the central nervous system thereby reducing frequent coughing.

• Keep the syrup in a tightly closed container to protect it from light and moisture.
