Topcort Cream 15Gm

Topcort Cream is used to relieve inflammation, itching and redness of the skin in adults and children with corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Uses of Topcort Cream are:

• Eczema and Dermatitis: Reduces itching, redness and inflammation caused by atopic eczema and contact dermatitis.
• Psoriasis: Helps manage skin inflammation, redness and scaling.
• Allergic Skin Reactions: Relieves itching and inflammation caused by allergic rashes and skin irritation.

To use Topcort Cream 15gm correctly, follow these instructions:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area as directed by your doctor.
• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it is fully absorbed.
• Avoid applying this cream on your face, underarms, or groin unless instructed by your doctor.
• After application, wash your hands thoroughly unless they are in the area being treated.

Topcort Cream 15gm contains Mometasone (0.1 % w/w), which works in the body as follows:

• Inducing Lipocortins: Mometasone induces the production of proteins called lipocortins. These proteins play a crucial role in controlling inflammation by inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory mediators, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

• Store Topcort Cream 15gm at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
