Pantosec Tablet is used to lower excess stomach acid and treat conditions like GERD, acid reflux, peptic ulcers, and heartburn. It is also used in Zollinger–Ellison syndrome by reducing acid secretion, easing discomfort, and promoting healing of the stomach and oesophagus.

To use the Pantosec Tablet:

1. Take as directed by your doctor.
2. Swallow the tablet whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it.
3. Take it one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.
4. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

Pantosec Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with a glass of water. It is not to be taken through any other route.

Pantosec Tablet contains pantoprazole sodium as its active ingredient.
