Tonact 40 Tablet consists of the following constituent:

• Atorvastatin (40 mg): It is a statin that works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG CoA reductase, which plays a crucial role in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, Atorvastatin reduces the production of cholesterol.
• It also increases the number of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptors in liver cells, which helps in the clearance of LDL cholesterol from the bloodstream. These mechanisms contribute to reducing LDL cholesterol levels and managing lipid disorders.
• It also increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the blood. 

• Store Tonact 40 Tablet at room temperature of 15-25 ºC. 
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiration date has passed.

• Do relaxation techniques for both body and mind, like yoga, meditation and exercises. 
• Do breathing exercises to get more oxygen supply.
• Limit sugar intake, especially in homemade food items.
• Avoid excess intake of salt. As per the American Heart Association, the table salt intake should not exceed 2300 mg/day. 
• As a preventive measure, avoid alcohol consumption and quit smoking. 
• In case of muscle weakness, fatigue, and tiredness, immediately inform the doctor. 
• Avoid taking Tonact 40 Tablet if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding women.
