Tonact, 40 Tablet should be taken as a whole with a glass of water.

Tonact 40 Tablet should be taken orally.

Tonact 40 Tablet may cause side effects such as muscle pain (myalgia), joint pain, headache, nausea, diarrhoea, and mild stomach discomfort. These effects are usually temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or become bothersome.

Tonact 40 Tablet consists of the following constituent:

Atorvastatin (40 mg): It is a statin that works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG CoA reductase, which plays a crucial role in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, Atorvastatin reduces the production of cholesterol.
It also increases the number of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptors in liver cells, which helps in the clearance of LDL cholesterol from the bloodstream. These mechanisms contribute to reducing LDL cholesterol levels and managing lipid disorders.
It also increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the blood.

Pregnancy

Over Dose

Missed Dose

Store Tonact 40 Tablet at room temperature of 15-25 ºC.
Protect it from light and moisture.
Keep the tablet away from children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date has passed.

Do relaxation techniques for both body and mind, like yoga, meditation and exercises.
Do breathing exercises to get more oxygen supply.
Limit sugar intake, especially in homemade food items.
