Ondero 5 Tablet is used to help control type 2 diabetes.

• By inhibiting DPP-4, linagliptin helps your pancreas secrete more insulin. Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood glucose (sugar) levels. The increased insulin secretion helps decrease blood glucose levels.
• Linagliptin also reduces the secretion of glucagon, another hormone that raises blood glucose levels. This helps maintain a balance between insulin and glucagon, further lowering blood glucose levels.
• Additionally, linagliptin enhances the growth and survival of beta cells in your pancreas. Beta cells produce insulin. By ensuring the proper functioning of these cells, linagliptin maintains adequate insulin production.
