Telkonol H Tablet 10

Telkonol-H Tablet is used in the long-term management of high blood pressure, often when a single blood pressure medicine is not enough on its own.

Uses of Telkonol-H Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure Management: The primary use of this medicine, helping to lower and control blood pressure in adults.

• Combination Therapy: Can be used alongside other antihypertensive medicines to help patients reach their blood pressure goals.

• Treatment of Hypertension Requiring Combination Therapy: Used in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single antihypertensive medicine.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don't chew or crush it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, as per your preference.

• Always take this medicine exactly as advised by your doctor. Don't alter the dose unless your doctor tells you to do so.

• Don't stop using this medicine without first speaking with your doctor.

Telkonol-H Tablet is taken orally.

Telkonol-H Tablet consists of the following two components:

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient is a diuretic, which means it helps your kidneys remove excess water and salt from your body through urine. By doing so, it relieves the pressure on your blood vessels and thereby reduces high blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), telmisartan works by blocking a substance in your body that causes blood vessels to tighten. This action relaxes and widens your blood vessels, helping to lower blood pressure

• Keep Telkonol-H Tablet in a cool and dry place, ideally at around 25°C.

• Keep it away from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Make sure you use Telkonol-H Tablet before its expiry date.

• Regularly monitor your salt intake as too much salt can heighten your blood pressure and undermine the effectiveness of Telkonol-H Tablet.

• Engage in moderate exercise such as walking or cycling, which is good for managing hypertension. However, always consult with your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
