Telday 40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and lower the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems in adults at high cardiovascular risk. It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker medicine.
It also helps protect kidney function in people with diabetes and can be prescribed alone or with other blood pressure medicines. Take it with or without food, at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly.
Regular exercise, a healthy weight, less salt (pickles, papad, chips) and limited alcohol support blood pressure control.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or low blood pressure, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may check your kidney function and potassium levels from time to time. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
