Solvin Cold AF Syrup is used in children to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and allergic rhinitis, such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and a sore throat.
It contains chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine. It contains an antihistamine, which calms the allergic response, and a decongestant, which reduces swelling in the lining of the nose to ease congestion.
Give the syrup by mouth with the measuring cup provided, shaking well before each use, at the dose the doctor advises.
Tell the doctor about any asthma, heart condition or urinary difficulty before use. It may cause drowsiness, so supervise the child around stairs or water. Do not combine it with other cold or allergy medicines that contain similar ingredients.
