Asomex 5 Tablet is utilized to treat high blood pressure and angina pectoris. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the occurrence of chest pain.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Asomex-5 Tablet is taken orally. 

The Asomex-5 Tablet contains the following component:

• S-Amlodipine (5 mg): It is a calcium channel blocker that lowers blood pressure by directly relaxing the smooth muscle lining blood vessels. 
• In cases of angina, it operates by diminishing the resistance against which the heart functions. This stabilisation of heart rate results in decreased energy consumption and reduced oxygen demands on the heart muscle.
