CompositionS-Numlo 2.5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and to prevent chest pain (angina) in adults. It contains S-amlodipine, the purified S-enantiomer of amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker.
S-amlodipine provides comparable blood vessel relaxation to standard amlodipine at a lower dose, which relaxes and widens blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow to the heart to help prevent angina attacks.
Take this tablet daily at the same time each day, with or without food, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue even if you feel well.
Tell your doctor if you have severe liver disease, or if you notice significant swelling of the ankles or feet. Avoid grapefruit juice, which can increase levels of this medicine in the blood.
