Rapilif-M 25 Tablet is used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. It is a combination medicine containing an alpha-blocker and a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist.
It helps with difficulty starting urination, a weak urine stream and frequent urination, especially at night. It also helps reduce sudden urges to urinate and the feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. Take it orally in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Limit tea, coffee and fizzy drinks, avoid large drinks close to bedtime, and pass urine at regular intervals. Rise slowly from a sitting or lying position to avoid dizziness.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure, or kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report fainting, persistent dizziness or difficulty passing urine promptly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
