Mirabegron (25 Mg) + Silodosin (8 Mg)

Alphacept M 25 Tablet is used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that affects many men as they age. It is a combination medicine that belongs to the class of medications known as a beta-3 adrenergic agonist and an alpha-1A adrenergic blocker.

BPH can cause troublesome lower urinary tract symptoms that significantly impact quality of life. These symptoms include difficulty starting urination, weak urine stream, frequent urination (especially at night), urgent need to urinate, feeling of incomplete bladder emptying, and straining during urination.

This medicine should be taken orally as directed by your doctor. It is important to inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions, such as liver or kidney disease, low blood pressure, heart conditions, or eye problems, before starting this medicine. Alphacept M 25 Tablet is used for the following:

Management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
Improvement of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), including:
- Difficulty starting urination
- Weak or interrupted urine stream
- Frequent or urgent urination (especially at night)
- Feeling of incomplete bladder emptying
- Straining during urination

Follow these instructions while taking Alphacept M 25 Tablet:

Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet as it is an extended-release formulation.
Take this medicine at the same time each day for the best results.
You may take it with or without food.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next dose.
Never take two doses to make up for a missed one.
Consult your doctor if you are unsure about how to take this medicine.

Alphacept M 25 Tablet may have the following common side effects:

Retrograde ejaculation: Semen enters the bladder instead of exiting through the urethra during ejaculation. This is harmless but may affect fertility
Dizziness
Headache
Diarrhoea
Nasal congestion
Orthostatic hypotension: This refers to a sudden drop in blood pressure when you stand up quickly, which can make you feel lightheaded.
Nausea
Fatigue

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding

Drug-Disease Interactions

Alphacept M 25 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

Low blood pressure: Alphacept M 25 Tablet can further lower blood pressure, potentially causing dizziness or fainting in affected patients.
Cataracts/glaucoma: If you have these eye conditions, inform your eye surgeon about using Alphacept M 25 Tablet before undergoing surgery.

Daily Dose

Over Dose
