Ramcor 5 Capsule 10 are used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure, also known as hypertension
• Increasing survival rates after a heart attack in patients showing signs of heart failure
• Lowering the risk of heart attacks, strokes and death due to cardiovascular causes in high-risk patients above 55 years old

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Make sure not to chew or crush the capsule.
• The medicine can be taken with or without food, as per your doctor's advice.
• Always remember to follow your doctor's instructions while taking this medicine.

Ramcor 5 Capsule 10 are taken orally.

Ramcor 5 Capsule 10 contains ramipril (5 mg). Here's how it works in your body:

• ACE Inhibition: Ramipril inhibits the activity of an enzyme in your body called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). This enzyme is responsible for the production of a substance called angiotensin II.
• Blood Pressure Regulation: Angiotensin II narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By blocking its production, ramipril helps relax and widen blood vessels. This reduces pressure within the vessels, causing a lower pressure, which makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.
