Rabinol IT Capsule SR is used to manage symptoms of GERD and promote healing of the oesophagus damaged by acid reflux, and to help prevent the recurrence of erosive oesophagitis and GERD-related conditions such as chronic cough or laryngitis.

• GERD: Reduces stomach acid and relieves heartburn and acid reflux.

To use Rabinol It Capsule 10 correctly, follow these steps:

• Take the capsule at least 30 minutes before a meal.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.

Rabinol It Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Rabinol It Capsule 10 contains two active elements:

• Rabeprazole sodium (20 mg): Rabeprazole reduces stomach acid production as part of the proton pump inhibitor class of medicines. It irreversibly blocks the hydrogen/potassium adenosine triphosphatase enzyme system (the proton pump) located in gastric parietal cells. By decreasing stomach acid levels, rabeprazole aids in healing oesophagal damage caused by acid reflux and ease GERD symptoms.
• Itopride hydrochloride (150 mg): Itopride acts as a prokinetic agent in the digestive system. This means it encourages the release of acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter) and restricts dopamine D2 receptors in the gut. This dual action increases contractions of the lower oesophagal sphincter (LES), improves stomach motility, and speeds gastric emptying. By promoting food movement forward and preventing the backward flow of stomach contents, itopride helps manage acid reflux.
