CompositionNefidinol Retard 10 Tablet Sr 10 is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent the chest pain of angina, including stable and vasospastic angina. By relaxing and widening the blood vessels, it improves blood and oxygen flow to the heart and reduces the strain on it.
It contains nifedipine, a calcium channel blocker, in a slow-release ("Retard") form. Swallow the tablet whole as prescribed; do not crush or chew it, and keep taking it even when you feel well.
