Nicardia 10 Capsule 15 Capsule is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Preventing chest pain (angina pectoris)

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular events

• Improving blood flow to the heart

• Decreasing peripheral vascular resistance

• Lowering afterload on the heart

• Managing coronary artery disease

• Preventing oxygen deprivation to the heart muscles

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or divide the capsule.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

Nicardia 10 Capsule 15 contains nifedipine (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Calcium channel blockade: Nifedipine prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of your heart and blood vessels. This action relaxes and widens your blood vessels, making blood flow easier.
