Mirbeg-S 25 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms

• Controlling urinary urgency which is an intense desire to urinate that's difficult to hold back

• Regulating urinary frequency, where you feel the need to urinate more often than usual

• Preventing urge urinary incontinence, a condition where urine leaks involuntarily along with a strong urge to urinate.

Here are the instructions for taking Mirbeg-S 25 Tablet:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.

• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Mirbeg-S 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Mirbeg-S 25 Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Mirabegron (25 mg): This beta-3 adrenergic agonist acts on specific receptors in the bladder muscle, causing it to relax. By doing so, it increases the ability of the bladder to hold urine during the storage phase and postpones the initial urge to urinate.

• Solifenacin (5 mg): As an antimuscarinic medicine or M3 receptor antagonist, solifenacin blocks certain receptors in the smooth muscle of the bladder. This action reduces uncontrolled bladder contractions, leading to an increase in bladder capacity and a decrease in urinary frequency, urgency and incontinence.

• Store Mirbeg-S 25 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the tablet in a tightly closed container, shielded from light and moisture.

• Don't forget to store this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Ensure you use the medicine prior to its expiry date.

• Cut down on caffeine: Reducing your intake of caffeinated drinks like coffee or cola can help manage overactive bladder symptoms as these can stimulate the bladder and increase your urge to urinate.

• Bladder training: Try to gradually extend the time between going to the toilet. This can help increase bladder capacity and control overactive bladder symptoms.
