CompositionLupin Mira S 25 Tablet is used to treat overactive bladder in adults when a single medicine has not been enough, easing a sudden urge to pass urine, frequent urination and leaking of urine. It is a combination medicine containing mirabegron 25mg, a beta-3 adrenergic agonist, and solifenacin, an antimuscarinic.
Mirabegron relaxes the bladder muscle as it fills, while solifenacin reduces unwanted bladder contractions; together they help the bladder hold more urine. Take it once a day with water, swallowed whole without crushing or chewing, as prescribed.
Bladder training, pelvic floor exercises, spreading drinks through the day and cutting down on caffeine and alcohol can improve bladder control.
Do not take this medicine if you have uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma, cannot empty your bladder, have a severe bowel condition or myasthenia gravis. Do not take it if you have severe, uncontrolled high blood pressure. Before starting, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart rhythm problems, liver or kidney disease, constipation, or difficulty passing urine, and about other medicines you take, especially digoxin and certain antifungals and antibiotics. Your doctor may check your blood pressure. It can cause blurred vision, so take care when driving. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek medical help if you cannot pass urine, have eye pain, or a fast heartbeat. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
