CompositionForacort 200 Rotacaps are used for the long-term management of asthma and COPD in adults. They reduce inflammation and open the airways, helping prevent the breathlessness and wheeze that limit daily activity. They are not for the relief of a sudden attack.
They contain budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator, as a dry powder.
Place one capsule in the rotahaler and inhale as prescribed; do not swallow it. Rinse your mouth with water after every use to prevent oral thrush, and keep a short-acting reliever available.
Tell your doctor about any tuberculosis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes or heart condition before use.
