M-Solvin Expectorant Tablet is used to relieve productive cough, chest congestion, and breathing difficulty caused by thick mucus in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, COPD, and emphysema. It helps clear the airways and makes breathing easier.
It combines ambroxol, a mucolytic that thins and loosens sticky mucus in the lungs, with terbutaline, a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles to open up narrowed passages, and guaifenesin, an expectorant that further promotes clearance of mucus.
Take the tablet as directed by your doctor, usually with food. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day to help the mucolytic agents work more effectively. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Dry mouth, mild tremor, and dizziness may occur. Tell your doctor about any history of heart problems, thyroid disease, or high blood pressure before starting this medicine.
