CompositionLIPVAS 40 TABLET 10 is used to lower high cholesterol and triglycerides in adults, including those with familial hypercholesterolaemia, to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is used alongside a diet low in saturated fat, usually as a long-term treatment.
It contains atorvastatin, a statin that reduces the cholesterol produced by the liver. Take it as prescribed, at any time of day, with or without food, and keep taking it even when you feel well.
