Levipil 1g Tablet is used as an add-on treatment for managing partial-onset seizures in adults and children aged 12 years and above.
It belongs to the anticonvulsant class of medicines and helps reduce the frequency and severity of seizures that start in a specific area of the brain. Take it as prescribed by your child's doctor. Continue taking it regularly, even if you feel well, as stopping suddenly can trigger seizures; your child's doctor will advise you on how to stop safely if needed.
Getting enough sleep, managing stress, and avoiding known seizure triggers, such as alcohol and flashing lights, can help support seizure control alongside this medicine.
Tell your child's doctor if you have kidney problems, a history of mood changes or depression, or are pregnant or breastfeeding before starting. Report any mood changes, unusual thoughts, or worsening irritability to your child's doctor.
