CompositionLevipil 250 Tablet is used to manage and control epileptic seizures (fits) in adults and children. It is a single-ingredient anticonvulsant containing levetiracetam.
It helps lower how often and how severely seizures occur, including partial-onset, myoclonic and generalised tonic-clonic seizures. Take it with or without food, at fixed times, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop it suddenly, as this can trigger seizures or worsen your condition.
Keep a regular routine, get enough sleep, avoid excess alcohol and manage stress, as poor sleep and stress can make seizures more likely.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, depression, a mood disorder or thoughts of self-harm, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and attend regular follow-up visits. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
