Levera Xr 1000 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Controlling episodes of seizures associated with epilepsy
• Managing primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures, also known as grand mal seizures
• Regulating partial-onset seizures, which start in a particular part of the brain
• Reducing the frequency and intensity of myoclonic seizures, which are characterised by rapid, uncontrolled muscle jerks

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Ensure you do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food.
• Try to take it at the same time each day for consistent effect.
• Always adhere to your doctor's instructions regarding medicine use.

Levera Xr 1000 Tablet 10 contains Levetiracetam (1000 mg), which acts in your body in the following way:

• Suppressing seizure impulses: By stabilising electrical activity, levetiracetam effectively suppresses seizure impulses, preventing them from spreading across your brain.
• Extended-release formulation: The extended-release formulation of this tablet ensures a steady level of this medicine in your body throughout the day with just a single dose.
