• Anti-diabetic medications such as insulin or gliclazide may enhance the blood sugar-lowering effect of Glyree M 1 Tablet 10, increasing the risk of hypoglycaemia.
• ACE inhibitors and Angiotensin II receptor antagonists: Medicines like enalapril or losartan can potentiate the hypoglycaemic effect of this medication.
• Thiazides and Corticosteroids like hydrochlorothiazide or prednisolone: These may reduce the blood sugar-lowering effect of the medicine.
• Oral contraceptives and Estrogen, such as ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel: These can decrease the hypoglycaemic effect of Glyree M 1 Tablet 10.
• H2 blockers such as cimetidine can increase metformin levels in your body, enhancing its action.
• Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors like acetazolamide can increase the risk of lactic acidosis when used with metformin in Glyree M 1 Tablet 10.

Certain foods may interact with Glyree M 1 Tablet 10:

• High-Fat diet: This can decrease the absorption of metformin, reducing its effectiveness.

Glyree M 1 Tablet 10 can interact with the following diseases:

• Kidney disease: If you have kidney problems, this tablet can accumulate in your body, posing a risk for lactic acidosis.
• Liver disease: As the liver clears metformin, liver diseases might alter metformin levels in your body.
• Heart disease: Caution is needed if you have heart disease as lactic acidosis, though rare, can occur due to metformin in Glyree M 1 Tablet 10.
• Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency: If you have G6PD deficiency, Glyree M 1 Tablet 10 may cause haemolytic anaemia.

The daily dose of Glyree M 1 Tablet 10 should be taken as advised by your doctor. The dosage may differ depending on the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medication. It's crucial not to exceed the prescribed dosage without a doctor's consultation.
