• Glimepiride (1 mg): As part of the sulfonylurea class of antidiabetic medicines, glimepiride stimulates the cells in your pancreas (known as beta cells) to release more insulin. It also helps your body's tissues become more sensitive to insulin, which improves how they take in and use glucose.

• Metformin Hydrochloride (500 mg): This component belongs to the biguanide class of antidiabetic medicines. Metformin slows down glucose production in your liver (a process called hepatic gluconeogenesis), enhancing glucose uptake and utilization by improving insulin sensitivity in your muscle and fat tissues.
