CompositionEplebless 25mg Tablet is used to manage heart failure and high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It is a single-ingredient aldosterone antagonist containing eplerenone.
It is particularly useful after a recent heart attack, helping to reduce strain on the heart and fluid overload while preserving potassium. Take it with or without food, at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly.
Cut down on salt, including pickles and papad, follow any fluid advice, and avoid potassium supplements or salt substitutes unless your doctor approves them.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or high potassium levels, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take, especially ACE inhibitors or potassium supplements. Your doctor will check your potassium and kidney function with regular blood tests. Report muscle weakness, a slow or irregular heartbeat or unusual tiredness. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
