CompositionEcosprin-AV 75/20 Capsule is used to manage high cholesterol and to help prevent heart attacks and strokes in people at cardiovascular risk. It keeps the blood flowing smoothly and improves the balance of blood fats.
It contains a low dose of aspirin, which stops platelets forming clots, and atorvastatin, which lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and raises good HDL cholesterol.
Take it by mouth as prescribed, as part of long-term treatment, ideally with food to reduce stomach discomfort. Because it reduces clotting, tell your doctor or dentist before any procedure.
Tell your doctor about any bleeding or liver problems, or other medicines, before starting. Report any unusual bleeding, or unexplained muscle pain or weakness.
