Ecosprin-AV 75/20 Capsule is used to lower bad cholesterol and triglycerides, prevent heart attacks, strokes, and death in people at risk.

Ecosprin-AV 75/20 Capsule acts on your body through two active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This antiplatelet medicine works by irreversibly inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase in your body. This enzyme is responsible for producing compounds called prostaglandins and thromboxane A2 that promote clotting. By suppressing these compounds, aspirin provides cardio-protective benefits.
• Atorvastatin (20 mg): Atorvastatin belongs to a category of medicines known as HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors. It functions by blocking this enzyme which plays a key role in producing cholesterol in your liver. Through this action, atorvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels by increasing the number of hepatic LDL receptors on the cell surface which promotes uptake and catabolism of LDL.
