CompositionCortel LN Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults whose blood pressure is not controlled well enough by a single medicine. Controlling blood pressure lowers the long-term risk of heart attack and stroke.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker. Together they relax and widen the blood vessels so blood flows more easily.
Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, and continue it even when you feel well.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before use. Your doctor may check your kidney function and potassium, and report marked dizziness or ankle swelling.
