Deriva-CMS Gel is a combination topical medicine used to manage acne vulgaris. It helps treat inflamed pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, clearing existing skin blemishes and helping prevent new breakouts on the face, chest or back.
It combines adapalene, a retinoid that normalises skin cell growth to prevent clogged pores, and clindamycin, an antibiotic that reduces acne-causing bacteria and local skin inflammation. Apply a thin layer gently to clean, dry skin as prescribed.
Cleanse your skin with a mild, soap-free cleanser and pat dry before applying the gel. Avoid harsh scrubs or alcohol-based toners, use a lightweight sunscreen during the day, and keep your skin adequately moisturised.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of severe intestinal inflammation, eczema or active sunburn before starting. Avoid applying the gel on open wounds, cuts, or the lips and eyes. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
