Clopivas AP 75/75 Tablet is a medicine used to prevent dangerous blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular complications in adults with established heart disease or prior stent placement.
It contains a combination of two antiplatelet medicines, clopidogrel and aspirin. They work together to prevent platelets from sticking together and forming clots in blood vessels. Take it with food as prescribed, at the same time each day. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this sharply increases the risk of a blood clot or heart attack.
A heart-healthy lifestyle supports treatment alongside this medicine. This includes eating a diet low in saturated fats, quitting smoking, taking regular gentle exercise as advised, and keeping all scheduled medical follow-ups.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, liver or kidney disease, or asthma. Tell your healthcare providers and dentist that you take this medicine before any surgical or dental procedure. Report any signs of bleeding, such as black stools, coughing up blood, or unusual bruising, right away.
