• NSAIDs: Medicines like ibuprofen and naproxen may reduce the blood pressure-lowering effects of the chlorthalidone component in Cilacar C Tablet.

• Mood stabilising medicines: Lithium used for mood disorders may interact with chlorthalidone, leading to lithium toxicity.

• Antibiotics: Medicines like erythromycin inhibit an enzyme called CYP3A4. This can result in increased concentrations of cilnidipine in your blood.

• Anticonvulsants: Medicines such as phenytoin and carbamazepine increase the activity of the enzyme CYP3A4. These may reduce the levels of cilnidipine in your blood.
