Cilidin Ch Tablet 15 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, and also helps in the prevention of stroke and heart attack associated with uncontrolled hypertension.

Uses of Cilidin Ch Tablet 15 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines a calcium channel blocker and a diuretic to relax blood vessels and remove excess fluid, lowering blood pressure effectively.

Follow these instructions while taking Cilidin Ch Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Take the tablet once daily, preferably in the morning with food.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your treatment.

Cilidin Ch Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Cilidin Ch Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): A calcium channel blocker that prevents calcium ions from entering the smooth muscle cells of arterial walls. This action causes blood vessels to relax and widen (vasodilation), which reduces peripheral vascular resistance and lowers blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that acts on the kidneys to increase the excretion of sodium and water from the body. By reducing fluid volume in the bloodstream, it decreases blood volume and pressure, further contributing to the overall anti-hypertensive effect.

• Store Cilidin Ch Tablet 15 at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to protect from environmental exposure.

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce salt intake in your daily meals as excess sodium can increase blood pressure. Try using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavour your food.
