Softeron Capsule is taken orally.

Softeron Capsule comprises three active ingredients:

• Ferrous Fumarate (165 mg): This iron salt replenishes the body's iron stores. Iron is an essential component of haemoglobin, which carries oxygen around your body. By increasing your iron levels, ferrous fumarate helps prevent symptoms of iron-deficiency anaemia such as fatigue and breathlessness.

• Folic Acid (750 mcg): Also known as vitamin B9, folic acid plays a vital role in red blood cell production and DNA synthesis. It is particularly important during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects in the baby.

• Docusate Sodium (50 mg): This ingredient acts as a stool softener, helping prevent constipation a common side effect of oral iron supplements. It works by increasing the amount of water absorbed by the stool in the gut, making bowel movements easier and more comfortable.

• Store Softeron Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 15 and 30°C.
