Budetrol-G Capsule is used for the following:

• Maintenance treatment of COPD

• Management of chronic bronchitis

• Control of emphysema symptoms

• Prevention of COPD exacerbations

• Improvement of lung function in COPD patients

• Reduction of airway inflammation

• Relief of bronchospasm in COPD

• Enhancement of breathing capacity in respiratory disorders

• Control of airflow obstruction

• Reduction of COPD-related hospitalisations

Follow these instructions while taking Budetrol-G Capsule:

• Use only with the supplied inhaler device; never swallow the capsule.

• Remove the capsule from the blister pack only immediately before use.

• Insert the capsule into the inhaler device as instructed in the package.

• After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water to prevent fungal infections.

• Consult your doctor if you need guidance on the correct inhalation technique.

Budetrol-G Capsule is taken via oral inhalation.

Budetrol-G Capsule contains three active ingredients:

• Budesonide (400 mcg): This inhaled corticosteroid works by reducing inflammation in the airways. It decreases swelling, excessive sensitivity, and mucus production in the breathing passages.

• Glycopyrrolate (25 mcg): This long-acting muscarinic antagonist blocks the action of acetylcholine, a substance that causes narrowing of airways. It provides additional widening of the airways and helps reduce mucus secretion.

• Formoterol fumarate (12 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist, it relaxes the smooth muscles that line your airways. This action helps widen the airways, making breathing easier for a prolonged period.

• Store at room temperature (30°C) in a dry place.

• Keep the medicine protected from direct light.

• Remove capsules from the blister pack only when ready to use.

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Quit smoking completely, as tobacco smoke worsens COPD symptoms and reduces how well your medicine works.

• Stay hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily to help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to clear your lungs.
