Foranux G 400 Capsule 30

Foranux G 400 Capsule 30 is used for the long-term maintenance treatment of COPD in adults, combining three medicines to improve breathing and reduce flare-ups.

Uses of Foranux G 400 Capsule 30 are:

• COPD: Improves breathing and reduces symptoms in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
• Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema: Helps manage symptoms of chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
• Flare-Up Prevention: Lowers the risk of COPD flare-ups with regular, ongoing use.

Follow these instructions while taking Foranux G 400 Capsule 30:

• Use this medicine only with a Rotahaler device; never swallow the capsule whole.

• Insert the capsule into the Rotahaler device as shown in the package instructions.

• Breathe out completely before placing your lips around the mouthpiece.

• Inhale deeply and forcefully to draw the medicine into your lungs.

• Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds after inhaling, then breathe out slowly.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use and spit it out.

Foranux G 400 Capsule 30 is administered via inhalation.

Foranux G 400 Capsule 30 contains three active ingredients that work together to improve breathing:

• Budesonide (400 mcg): This corticosteroid reduces airway inflammation by suppressing inflammatory cells and chemicals in the lungs. It helps decrease swelling and mucus production in the airways, making breathing easier.

• Glycopyrrolate (25 mcg): This anticholinergic agent blocks muscarinic receptors in the airways. By doing so, it prevents the narrowing of airways and reduces mucus secretion, providing additional bronchodilation through a mechanism different from that of formoterol.

• Formoterol fumarate (12 mcg): As a long-acting beta-2 agonist, it relaxes the muscles around the airways. This bronchodilator works by attaching to specific receptors called beta-2 receptors on airway muscles, causing them to relax and widen for up to 12 hours.

• Store Foranux G 400 Capsule 30 at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep it in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.

• Store away from children's reach.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Quit smoking completely, as it significantly worsens COPD and reduces the effectiveness of your medicine.

• Avoid environmental irritants such as dust, strong fumes, and air pollution, as these can trigger breathing difficulties and exacerbate your respiratory condition.
