Bempesta EZ Tablet is used for the following:

• Lowering high LDL cholesterol levels

• Managing hyperlipidemia

• Treating mixed dyslipidemia

• Reducing risk of cardiovascular events

• Supporting patients on maximally tolerated statin therapy

• Complementing diet and exercise for cholesterol management

• Helping patients unresponsive to single medicinal therapy

• Lowering cholesterol when lifestyle changes aren't enough

• Enhancing cholesterol management in combination treatments

• Addressing inadequate response to cholesterol-lowering diets

Follow these instructions while taking Bempesta EZ Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• If you have any questions about how to take this medicine, consult your doctor.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

Bempesta EZ Tablet is taken orally.

Bempesta EZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bempedoic acid (180 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called ATP citrate lyase (ACL) in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, it decreases cholesterol production in the body and increases LDL receptor expression on liver cells, leading to enhanced removal of LDL-C from the bloodstream.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol from the small intestine. It binds to a protein called Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1 (NPC1L1) on intestinal cells, preventing cholesterol uptake and reducing its delivery to the liver. This causes an increase in LDL receptor expression, further promoting LDL clearance from the blood.

• Store Bempesta EZ Tablets at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep away from excess heat and moisture.

• Do not store in bathrooms.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use the medicine past its expiry date.

• Store in the original packaging to protect from light.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. Choose foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins to help manage your cholesterol levels alongside Bempesta EZ Tablet.

• Include regular physical activity in your routine, aiming for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week, which can help improve your lipid profile and heart health.
