Bemdac Ez Tablet 10

Bemdac EZ Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing primary hyperlipidaemia

• Lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) levels in the blood

• Controlling mixed dyslipidaemia

• Supporting patients who cannot tolerate statins

• Providing additional cholesterol control with diet

• Helping patients who are not responding to lifestyle changes

• Reducing cardiovascular disease risk

• Supplementing inadequate statin therapy

• Managing heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia

• Treating patients with elevated liver cholesterol production

• Addressing poor dietary cholesterol absorption

Follow these instructions while taking Bemdac EZ Tablet:

• Take the tablet with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• If you have questions about how to take this medicine, consult your doctor.

Bemdac EZ Tablet is taken orally.

Bemdac EZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bempedoic acid (180 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called ATP citrate lyase in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, it reduces cholesterol production in the body, helping to lower LDL (low-density lipoprotein) or 'bad' cholesterol levels in the blood.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This ingredient works in the small intestine by blocking the absorption of dietary cholesterol. It prevents cholesterol from food sources from entering the bloodstream, which helps reduce the overall cholesterol levels in your body.

• Store Bemdac EZ Tablets at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the tablets in their original package to protect them from moisture and light.

• Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

• Keep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use Bemdac EZ Tablet after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Adopt a cholesterol-lowering diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins while limiting saturated fats and trans fats to help manage hyperlipidaemia (high cholesterol levels).

• Include regular physical activity in your routine, aiming for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week, which can help reduce your LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels.
