Bemzire Ez Tablet 10

Bemzire-EZ Tablet is used for the following:

• Lowering LDL cholesterol in primary hypercholesterolemia

• Managing mixed dyslipidemia

• Reducing cardiovascular risk in statin-intolerant patients

• Treating heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

• Supporting patients with inadequate response to diet changes

• Enhancing cholesterol management when other medicines aren't enough

• Decreasing liver cholesterol production

• Blocking intestinal cholesterol absorption

• Improving cholesterol levels when lifestyle changes fail

• Complementing other lipid-lowering medicines

Follow these instructions while taking Bemzire-EZ Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Consult your doctor if you're unsure about how to take this medicine.

Bemzire-EZ Tablet is taken orally.

Bemzire-EZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bempedoic acid (180 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called ATP citrate lyase in your body. This enzyme plays an important role in the early stages of cholesterol production in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, bempedoic acid helps decrease cholesterol production and enhances the removal of LDL cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This works by blocking the absorption of cholesterol in your small intestine. It prevents both dietary cholesterol and cholesterol produced by your body from being absorbed, which reduces the amount of cholesterol delivered to your liver. This action decreases cholesterol stores in the liver and increases the clearance of LDL cholesterol from your blood.

• Store Bemzire-EZ Tablets at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from moisture and damp places like bathrooms.

• Protect the tablets in their original packaging until use.

• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use Bemzire-EZ Tablet after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a low-cholesterol diet by reducing intake of saturated fats (found in butter, cheese, and fatty meats) and increasing consumption of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week, as regular exercise helps raise HDL (good cholesterol) and lower LDL (bad cholesterol).
