Apraize 10 Tablet 4

Apraize-10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis

• Management of psoriatic arthritis

• Relief of joint pain and swelling in psoriatic conditions

• Reduction of inflammation in autoimmune conditions

• Control of skin lesions associated with psoriasis

• Treatment of oral ulcers in Behcet's disease

• Management of inflammatory skin disorders

• Improvement of psoriasis symptoms in adults

• Control of immune system overactivity

Follow these instructions while taking Apraize-10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine with or without food as advised by your doctor.

• Maintain regular timing for doses for best results.

Apraize-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Apraize-10 Tablet contains apremilast (10 mg), which works in the following ways:

• PDE4 enzyme inhibition: Apremilast blocks an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) that is found in immune cells throughout your body. This enzyme normally helps control inflammation processes.

• Reduces inflammatory substances: By blocking PDE4, this medicine decreases the production of chemicals that cause inflammation in your body. This helps reduce the redness, scaling, and thickness of psoriasis plaques.

• Immune response modulation: Apremilast adjusts your immune system's activity without completely suppressing it. This helps control the overactive immune response that contributes to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

• Decreases joint inflammation: The medicine reduces inflammation in the joints, helping to decrease pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with psoriatic arthritis.

• Store Apraize-10 Tablet below 30°C in its original packaging.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use, and do not use expired medicine.

• Include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (like fish and flaxseeds) and antioxidants (colourful fruits and vegetables) to help reduce inflammation associated with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

• Practise regular stress-reduction techniques such as gentle exercise, meditation or deep breathing, as stress can trigger or worsen flare-ups of psoriasis and related conditions.
