• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Apigy 2.5 Tablet 10 contains Apixaban (2.5 mg), which acts on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibits factor Xa: Apixaban works by selectively blocking an enzyme called Factor Xa in your body. This enzyme plays a key role in forming blood clots.

• Prevents fibrin formation: By blocking Factor Xa, apixaban effectively prevents the conversion of fibrinogen (a protein available in your blood) into fibrin, another protein that's integral for blood clot formation.
