Eliquis 2.5 Tablet is used for selected clot-prevention indications; this strength is not the standard initial dose for treating acute DVT or PE.

Uses of Eliquis 2.5 Tablet are:

• Stroke Prevention: Used in selected people with atrial fibrillation who meet the prescribed dose-reduction criteria.
• Extended DVT and PE Prevention: Reduces recurrence after at least six months of initial anticoagulant treatment.
• Surgical Clot Prevention: Prevents clots after hip or knee replacement surgery.

• Swallow the medicine whole, without crushing, chewing or breaking it.
• You can take this medicine with or without food, as per your preference.
