Ambrodil Xp Syrup 100ml

Ambrodil-XP syrup is used for the following:

• Management of asthma in children.
• Relief of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• Treatment of bronchospasms in children.
• Control of bronchitis.
• Prevention of recurring respiratory difficulties.
• Management of airflow obstruction.
• Reducing bronchial inflammation.
• Easing breathing in respiratory disorders.

• Controlling chronic inflammatory airway disorders.

Give your child Ambrodil-XP syrup as follows:

• Use the measuring cup provided to measure the correct dose.
• Shake the bottle well before pouring the syrup.
• Give the medicine in the evening with food for the best results.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.
• Store the syrup at room temperature away from light and moisture.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving this medicine.

Ambrodil-XP Syrup is given orally.

Ambrodil-XP Syrup contains acebrophylline (50 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Phosphodiesterase Inhibition: Acebrophylline blocks an enzyme called phosphodiesterase, which normally breaks down a substance called cyclic AMP (cAMP) in the body. This action helps maintain higher levels of cAMP, which is important for relaxing the airways.
• Bronchodilation: By keeping cAMP levels elevated, acebrophylline relaxes the smooth muscles around the airways. This widening of the airways decreases resistance and makes breathing easier for your child.
• Anti-inflammatory Action: Acebrophylline reduces inflammation in the respiratory tract. This helps decrease swelling and irritation in the airways, further improving breathing.
• Mucus Modification: The medicine reduces the thickness of mucus in your child's airways. Thinner mucus is easier to cough up, which helps clear the respiratory passages.

• Store Ambrodil-XP Syrup at room temperature below 30°C.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed in its original container.
• Protect from direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive heat.
• Store in a dry place away from children's reach.
