Alex Junior DS Syrup is used for managing the following conditions:

Administer Alex Junior DS Syrup to your child as follows:

Alex Junior DS Syrup works in the body through three active components:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg): As an antihistamine, chlorpheniramine maleate functions by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that triggers allergic responses such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): is a cough suppressant that reduces activity in the part of the brain that causes coughing, thereby relieving dry coughs.

• Phenylephrine (5 mg): Phenylephrine acts as a decongestant that reduces swelling in the nasal passages. It works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, reducing inflammation and mucus production.

• Store Alex Junior DS Syrup at a temperature below 30°C. Do not freeze it.

• Keep the medicine in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and moisture.

• Ensure it is kept in a secure location out of reach of children.

• Use the syrup before its expiry date to ensure its effectiveness.

• If your child has an upper respiratory tract infection, keep them well-hydrated. Encourage them to drink plenty of fluids like water and fresh fruit juice.

• Serve warm food, such as soup, which can soothe the throat and ease coughing.
