Zeptol CR 300 Tablet is used for managing the following conditions:

• Control of various types of seizures, including partial and generalised tonic-clonic seizures in epilepsy.

• Management of nerve pain affecting the face, a condition known as trigeminal neuralgia.

To effectively utilise Zeptol CR 300 Tablet, follow these instructions:

• Take the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing or splitting the tablet.

• Ensure regular intervals between doses to maintain consistent levels in the blood.

• Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor first.

Zeptol CR 300 Tablet is taken orally.

Zeptol CR 300 Tablet contains carbamazepine (300 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Stabilises Hyperactive Nerve Impulses: Carbamazepine helps in stabilising the nerve impulses in the brain that are hyperactive, thereby managing seizures effectively.

• Blocks Abnormal Electrical Signals: These abnormal signals, responsible for causing pain in trigeminal neuralgia, are blocked by carbamazepine, offering relief to the patient.

• Balances Nerve Activity: By reducing the excessive firing of neurons, carbamazepine helps in balancing the nerve activity within the brain.
